Mike Wexler didn’t set out to revolutionize work-based learning. He simply saw a problem that needed solving.
With over 22 years dedicated to education, Mike has experienced the academic world from every angle-as a student navigating his own educational journey and as a professional committed to transforming how we prepare young people for success.
Throughout his career, Mike noticed a recurring pattern: academically successful students were graduating unprepared for professional life. They had the knowledge but lacked the practical skills, professional networks, and real-world experience that employers valued.
“I watched brilliant students struggle in job interviews because they’d never been in a professional environment. That’s when I realized we needed to fundamentally change how we prepare students for life after school.”
